A Life Rooted in Faith, Service, and Compassion

Daveen Miller is an author, registered nurse, educator, mentor, and dedicated Christian whose life has been shaped by faith and a calling to care for others. Raised in a pastor’s home, she learned early that serving God often means serving people with compassion, patience, and an open heart.

Her nursing journey has taken her from critical care and recovery rooms to three years in England, where she trained and practiced as a midwife. She has had the privilege of delivering more than 70 babies and caring for hundreds of women, infants, patients, and families through moments of extraordinary joy, profound loss, and everything in between.

Beyond healthcare, Daveen has devoted years to children’s, youth, and music ministries, as well as teaching and mentoring students and new nurses. Her extensive travels throughout North America, Europe, Central America, and Africa have further enriched her appreciation for people, cultures, and the experiences that connect us.

Today, those experiences find their way into her writing. Through biblical reflection, practical wisdom, and a deeply personal understanding of life’s joys and challenges, Daveen encourages readers to place Christ at the center and walk forward with greater faith, hope, and purpose.

“Faith does not remove every difficult season, but it gives us the strength, peace, and hope to walk through each one with God beside us.”
